Use of the Absorb Pheme grants the target spell a 1 point Increase to Negation Methods. Its difficulty level is 2.
Frequently tacked into a Dispell spell, the Absorb Pheme is a favorite of higher level wizards who prefer picking their opponent apart instead of just winning. A famous example was the Mad Wizard Shambatya; as he tried to conquer Lauens, several wizards confronted him in vain attempts to stop his schemes for domination. Unsatisfied with just beating these upstarts, he made it a point to absorb as many of their own Phemes as he could and send them back in far more harmful spells. Had he not gone insane and fixated upon water magic as his preferred method of domination, he could have succeeded in his goal of making Lauens his own personal refuge. Rumor has it that Shambatya had an item that assisted his absorption, but this was never substatiated either way. Anyone who could inscribe this Pheme onto an item would be powerful indeed...
