Within Ballos stands the many guilds that have formed throughout its history. Despite the vast number of guilds, there can never be enough to accomodate every area of interest. As such, the Ballosian government has created the Specialized Studies Center. Though it is popular enough, the Center is often criticized for some of the areas of study its detractors have clalmed it endorses. Rumors have spread of criminal syndicates, large and small, have recruited unknowing persons into their organizations. However, the only common evidence of this is some questionable Iiterary resources that some people have ordered and checked out within this place.
