Descended from Culibratha by many generations, the old man Culiman rarely allows anyone into his shack; those who are willing to cook for him, however, hold a special place in his heart. With his family gone and no one to look after him but himself, Culiman is always willing to entertain guests, as long as they are willing to do their part first. For those who have sufficient cooking skills, the rewards are great, as Culiman holds the diaries of his entire family line starting with several generations before Culibratha and ending with his own. His ancestors traveled to every island visiting every type of people in search of newer and better spells and Phemes, and while they were shy about sharing this knowledge with outsiders, that same stricture never applied to family. Word is that Culiman is looking for a metaphorical successor to take over his family’s name, perhaps through legal and magical adoption. Many have tried and all have failed, but just because others have failed does not mean everyone will. The person who manages to worm their way into Culiman’s heart will gain unrestricted access to his family’s archives and records.
