Slander and insinuation are the tools of Demean, by which you may lower the Relationship between any two Students by 1, if you are successful at a contested Charm + Gossip Roll. If you are particularly Charming or proficient in Gossip (roll v20 and v25), you might decrease this further.

- Despite the description, and unlike the Gossip action, Demean doesn't actually require a successful roll to damage a relationship - even failing all three rolls will still reduce the targeted relationship by 1. As such the maximum hit on passing a Charm/Gossip v25 roll is -4, contrast to Gossip's +3 for passing the same roll.
