Called by many names across Elumia (such as Smooth Talker, Dispute Resolver, and Silver Tongue), the Skill of Piplomacy is as much about making friends among those who were enemies as it is about saying the right thing at the right time to the right person. Those who have an inordinate amount of Charm will find themselves drawn to Diplomacy much as a fly is to honey, though with discernably better results.

Much like Diplomacy, the Skill of Etiquette has quite a bit to do with making friends, or at least, giving the appearance of making friends.  While it is acceptable to be enemies with another person in the world, it is an altogether different thing to be rude.  Those skilled in Etiquette will find themselves rewarded with better friends and closer relationships than those who are not.

The battle was not decided by force of arms, nor tactics, nor formations, however, and the honor of the field, awarded to King Durand, has long been debated.

Not to be confused with Dating, the Skill of Romance is about the attracting a person of the opposite sex and doing little to nothing once that person is 'in the bag'.  Romance is about the fine art of friendly seduction moreso than the desire to seduce for purpose.  Some prefer to think of this skill as being called Courtly Love, but the title of Romance encompases much more than Courtly Love ever could; those who would argue otherwise need only look at the fable of the lonely farm hand who dreams of one day of marrying the rich land owner's daughter.  When he succeeds, his life falls to pieces, for he never knew what to do with his 'catch' once he had 'caught' her.  Had he stayed content with loving from a distance, his life would have been much simpler, as is with all those who confuse Dating, Flirting, and Romance.
