There aren’t many walking the labyrinthine halls of the Academy that can stand up to the acid tongue of Els Rottmundyn. Are those your ELBOWS on the table, you spurious, slack-jawed, ninny-headed excuse for a Morvidus student?! Els is just so mad she could... she could... she can’t even THINK what to do with a waste of magic such as yourself. It’s best to mind one’s Ps and Qs around her. If you were to watch her eyes when she’s berating a fellow student, you’d see a pair of windows full of cracks that could shatter at any moment.

Els has the ability to harangue a fellow student into a defensive crouch, costing him or her a point's Decrease to both Debate and Confidence for three full days, and Expanding Stress by a point. It only works about fifty percent of the time - when she's really at her peak - but a lot of kids will tell you that that's still too often for comfort.
