The Enspell Skill is not just about doing something and having it be done, it's about doing something and having it done right. Any idiot with a wand and a little bit of knowledge can cast a spell, but only a true Master Wizard can make a good spell great. Having proper form isn't usually high on wizard's lists of things they think are important, but as all great wizards will tell you, it's better to do something well and right the first time than it is to have to go back and do it decently a second time.

Concentration[]

Dominant Attribute: Finesse

Learning to cast spells and draw Phemes in a quiet classroom environment is well and good, but how often can a person count on having absolute peace and quiet around them when casting spells? Those who are adventurous had best learn to concentrate, for when the five-toed Glorn Beast charges them in the wilderness of Acheron Island, their ability to cast the Bout of Fire spell will depend entirely on their level of calm and concentration. Of course, Concentration has its uses in the classroom as well, for as the days of school go on, people find themselves more and more drawn to things other than study. Those who can concentrate under any and all circumstances will often excel at whatever it is they choose to do.

Diction[]

Dominant Attribute: Finesse

Speaking is one thing; speaking well is Diction.  Of particular use to actors and the like, the Skill of Diction is practically required for all looking to serve in the public eye, for if one cannot articulate their needs, one cannot get their point across.  The most well known instance of diction failing people is the Battle of the Regibal Heights, in which the general of the Thandilites shouted, “Drive them to their feet!”  In that day and age, this phrase meant that an army should attack until there were no opponents left standing; unfortunately, what the army heard was “Drive, then, to the sea!” which meant that an army should give up and drop their arms post haste.  The Thandilites ‘drove to the sea’ and dropped their arms, giving the Ulluthinians the much needed gold mines of the Regibal Heights…all because one person found it too time consuming to speak properly.
