Halfway up the Edare Mountain is the Hanging Poet's Tree, a blatantly magical tree that hands onto the edge of the cliff by only a few roots. The well documented history of this tree shows that it was brought to Mineta by the famed explorer Mitonach 'Far-ranging' Escabeth from the lower Island of Teneclellen. Despite Mitonach's perfectly detailed maps of the region, the Island of Teneclellen has never been found again, leaving generations of poets and lovers of literature to dream about what other kinds of wonders the island might hold. As to the tree itself, it seems to spring out of a crack on the cliff wall and rise up towards the sun, spreading its broad, bland colored shade leaves over the surface of the cliff. The view is spectacular, inspiring all those who see it to fall in love with the sight; beyond those enduring feelings and the occasional fallen leaf on the ground, however, there is nothing to be had from visiting this site to anyone's knowledge.
