Hearts Hallow is a huge, ancient tree right at the center of the Avila Dormitory complex, positioned as an equal among the Eight Towers, but older than any of them. The hollow within the tree is large enough to hold and protect Avila students in search of places other than their dorm rooms (particularly if those rooms are in Tower Eight) in which to sleep.
