As with many other locations within the Imperial Palace, not to mention the Palace itself, the Grand Library is little more than a memorial. Yet due to its literary nature, it is still used to modern days as a literary establishment, even if at a lesser extent. The Grand Library was once the ruling office for all literature, from Iibrarles to certain guilds, though its power left with the emperors themselves. Even so, one can find the most elegant books within its chambers.
