Performing a musical piece on your Violin can have a number of effects, depending upon the quality of your performance - you might learn a bit about high society from an appreciative (and rather select) audience, you might impress a professor enough to bring Merit to your College, and you might even earn personal Glory. Note that the school provides you with very basic instruments to use as needed; you don't have to supply your own.
