This irrational fear comes to someone who is influenced by the constellation commonly known as the Lamp; the afflicted person has an irrational fear that the 'flame' of the Lamp will somehow ignite the heavens above and cause the destruction of the world below. Unsurprisingly, it's a very rare belief, tending to afflict only those already subject to Paranoia and possessed of advanced training in the Theory of Astrology.
