With Positive Alteration of Organic Matter, the spell is merely "positive" because it doesn't necessarily kill the target outright. Instead it does 5 points of Damage to your target, and uses the expended Vitality to focus your consciousness on a Choice of Subskill, Increasing its effective level by 5. The spell requires clearing a difficult Intelligence/Theory of Revision Roll (v. 13); effects last for four days. It can be used in duels.
