Description[]

Region: The City of Mineta[]

Exploration Difficulty: 22[]

Chance of Discovery: 10[]

Privateer Feng's has the best band in town, though they never advertise. Part of the reason the restaurant can stay so 'dead' and yet remain open is their secret back room where all sorts of games gon on. As luck has it, you've found a secret hallway that runs the perimeter of the room with strategically located holes that allow you to see all the action going on. THis lets you get a great look at how 'High Stakes' players run their game; just watching gives you a heightened sense of your own tells, facial expressions, and body movements. This heightened awareness gives you a better chance of staying composed when questioned, as well as an added bonus of being a better bluffer. The feeling doesn't last forever, though, and you need to visit the hidden hallway once every few days if you want to keep the effect going.

Abilities:[]

Study the High Stakes Players (Active)[]

Visiting Privateer Feng's High Stakes Room increases one's Composure rolls by 3, one's Bluff rolls by 2, and one's Negotiate rolls by 1; all of these increases will last for 2 days after you leave.

Duration: 2 days[]

Dine at the Privateer (Active)[]

Privateer Feng's isn't exactly an inn or a tavern, but the people who run the place will serve food and set aside some table space for you if you have 30 pims to spare. Watching the games play out around you as you eat a (surprisingly) rich meal is a remarkably rewarding affair, granting a small reduction in Stress, a 3 point Increase in Maximum Vitality (which lasts for about six days), and an Expansion of a Skill Step to your understanding of the ways and modes of Gambling.
