Description[]
The Subtle Calm spell Increases its target's Insight by 1, Instinct, Serenity and Dispassion by 2, and Stress Maximum by 1. At the same time, it reduces Playfulness and Passion by 1 point each. Effects last for four days.
Known for centuries in parts of the old Empire as "the Monk's Prayer Spell", Subtle Calm helps those who aspire to mental clarity and detachment; at the same time, though, it makes it difficult to maintain any sense of whimsy. It's possible that certain professors rely on it more than they should.
