The Temple of Rostra (Goddess of Hope and Sailors) is one of the great monument of old Mineta, and the crown jewel of the Docks districts in the south. The complex is larger than most city blocks, and the extended grounds contain parklands and statues of varous saints - but the building itself is the real source of all the fame. Here, visitors can see the violet marble floors, the golden panels showing the goddess' deeds in relief, and - ofcourse - the Towers of Light, showing airship pilots the way to Mineta even in the blackest storms. And, ofcourse, this is where the moneylenders gather as well, offering newly arrived sailors advances on the wages they'll receive in the next flight, or the flight after. |
