This is an adventure to help the trapped inhabitants of a cursed tower. The adventure has several choices designed specifically to increase your chance of success at completing this adventure, and as such it lends itself well to beginners.
Stage 1: The Tower[]

- 2. Intelligence / Dialectic vs 3. Use your command of Dialectic to answer the question with another question.
Success: expand First Principles +1 SS, inform Acoustic (Pheme), inform Time (Pheme), pause at Stage 2 Failure: expand Persuasion -1 SS, inform Time, pause Adventure
- 3. Charm / Playfulness vs 3. Answer its question directly and humorously.
Success: expand Wit +1 SS, inform Acoustic (Pheme), inform Time (Pheme), pause at Stage 2 Failure: expand Awareness -1 SS, inform Time, pause Adventure
Success: expand Oratory +1, inform Acoustic (Pheme), inform Time (Pheme), pause at Stage 2 Failure: -1 Passion SS, inform Time (Pheme), pause Adventure
Stage 2: The Challenge of the Tower[]

Phase 2: The Caged Cat[]

Success: temporarily increase Flawless Timing +2, choose again Failure: -1 Vitality, decrease Flawless Timing -1

- 2. Luck / Flawless Timing vs 4. Glamour the Puma to sleep!
Success: gain and inform Sword of Kush, expand Concentration & Danger Sense +1 SS each, advance to Phase 3 Failure: -1 Confidence SS, -1 Vitality, pause Adventure
Phase 3: Branch and Bolt[]
- 1. Leave now and come back when you're better prepared.
Automatic: pause Adventure
- 2. Intelligence / Negation Methods v. 6. Try to protect yourself against lightning strikes.
Success: temporarily increase Chance of Success +15% Failure: nothing
