The Venalicium Library

Description

Those who study in the Venalicium Library will Expand the Study Level of their choice of Class by 1 and will gain a Step at a random Research Subskill.

Visitors to the Venalicium Library whose History Parent Skill is greater than 3 also have the option of Reading Source Material - a few hours' dedicated study increases both History and a Choice of Language by 3 points, and offers the possibility (on an Intelligence/Research roll v. 11) of increasing one’s Famous Prose and Famous Poetry Subskills by 3 points each as well. The increases last about a week.

The first, and greatest Library of the Academagia, it is generally filled by Students studying, researching and gossiping (quietly!). Only magical lights are allowed within the Library, for fear of fires. The Library collection contains books of all shapes and sizes, scrolls, and even some very old stone tablets.
