Familiar: Carol the Northern Dreaming Spider

Zoe destroys the grading curves at the Academagia. Being very pale and very slight, she doesn’t take very well to exercise, so she has devoted her time to study. Painfully shy, she doesn’t even have other young wizards and witches to distract her. Recently, though, Zoe has been lamenting her lack of money. Talk to her and she’ll keep harping on it, and make vague references to formulating a big moneymaking plan. Not sure what she needs the money for, though.

Ability: Study Feverishly[]

Zoe's an excellent, diligent student as a matter of habit and routine; when she's actually driven to exert herself, she's downright astonishing. Over the course of a week spent cramming instead of sleeping, she'll Decrease Playfulness by 1, permanently Expand her Stress by the same, but will also earn temporary Increases to her Study Habits (+2) and her choice of a Research Subskill (+1). If her Intelligence and skill at Memorization are up to the task, she'll also Expand her Study Level in the class at hand by 2 points, and Expand her Relationship with a startled professor by 1.

Making the rest of you look that much worse by comparison, frankly.

Clique Ability: Use Notes[]

Once a week or so, during her designated rest time, Zoe will let one of her friends use her notes, giving him or her a chance to Expand the Study Level of a chosen Class by 2 points. Given her magnificent framework of appendices and cross-referencing, that lucky friend will also be able to Expand a choice of skill by 2 Steps at the same time.
